sick day(s)

worthless weekend. I was sick. I sat. I watched TV. I moaned about feeling horrid. I was nauseous. I had crackers and ginger ale for dinner one night. I felt better and ate the next day, then I felt horrid again. It went on and on. I felt better by Sunday day/evening. Then I woke up this am with a sore throat. Today has been chills, fever, headache, sore throat, suffering. The bright side: I made kalamata olive bread Sunday. Olive oil made this fine white bread soft and sweet. It's been delicious and I've been stuffing myself on white bread and tea today to comfort myself.

The other bright side: I received from my swap partner for the Ongoing Wish Swap (round 20): fingerless gloves! They are a lovely grey wool blend with pretty cables on the top and ribbing on the bottom. Too bad it's so warm out. Oh well, the nights are still cool, and I can't wait to put them on next winter. I love them!
